CIQS & RICS 2020 Construction Adjudication Symposium

This symposium will provide insights and knowledge to prepare for this new business climate reality with an opportunity to network.
RICS & CIQS 2020 Construction Adjudication Symposium

Globalization has had a huge impact on the construction industry in Western Canada in the last several years. With this change combined with more diverse clients, challenging projects, increased paperwork vigilance and a practical timely alternative mechanism for handling disputes during the construction execution process has become necessary.

The Canadian construction industry everywhere is now in the midst of significant change with lien act reform changes and the introduction of prompt payment and adjudication going into effect in various provincial jurisdictions and potentially will be implemented on federal projects in the not to distant future.

The opportunity to gain valuable insight and knowledge to prepare for this new business climate reality will be discussed at many levels and from different perspectives. The key benefit takeaway for those attendees will be to consider options, strategies and meet valuable industry contact connections that could help them prepare for this adjustment.

The Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors in partnership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is pleased to host this event on behalf of all Western Canadian construction industry stakeholders.
